My pride and joy.
This picture is one of my favorites of Anthony and Ariel. It was taken when we were out camping at Burney Falls in Northern California. A very beautiful place and we're planning to go back in September.
Summer is approaching and only a hand full of days left of schooling for them. I know Anthony is excited that he will get to sleep in. No more getting up early for seminary (temporary). Whatever will Ariel do with herself? I'm not looking forward to hear her says, "I'M BORED, I'M BORED". Relaxation and fun for them, means working full time for me.
Building a solid foundation.

Ariel is in 5th grade.
This is the last year for Ariel to be in elementary school. She has the same teacher as Anthony when he was in 5th grade. Ariel likes school a lot. She told me to hurry and rush me to get to school. Even got upset when we didn't get there early enough. I told her we are not late, we still have 10 minutes before school start. I'm glad she wants to go to school that much. Her favorite subject is math.
Ariel is a good helper. She makes rice for dinner and helps me prepare vegetables, wash and chop. Even cook under my instructions. She is going to be a good cook. Now she just needs to sleep in her room.
Anthony is in high school.
Seminary starts every morning at 6:20. Afterward he walks about a block to school. Because of it, I have been getting up at 5:40 am and going to bed around 9:00. I used to stay up past midnight. The nice thing about that is, I get to clean up the house before going to work. Ariel also gets up early, and she makes breakfast for both of us. Ariel loves getting to school earlier so she could have more time to play. Now I like coming home from work and have the house somewhat clean. Anthony still has a hard time getting to seminary on time but he is improving. I was told by him that his seminary teachers are awesome. Our bishop and his wife. He likes high school way more than middle school. So far school is great for Anthony. His favorite subject is Biology. He is in concert band playing saxophone.

Anthony's post thingy
Anthony here~ My mom wanted me to make a post. So thats what I'm gonna do. Post. So here's whats been going on this week. My sister was sent home on monday with "Swine Flu" but actually its just a slight fever and she's feeling fine. However the school policy says she can't come back until 24 hours have passed. So all Tuesday she stayed at home. As a matter of fact, It might as well should have been a party- I stayed home too. I had an evil headache that kept on making my head spin. I sneezed and coughed a little and almost gagged myself to death.Oh yeah, My mom is starting to come down with some kind of sickness. Such a healthy bunch eh? Anyways, schools doing fine and er're almost done with state testing. Big whoop. I think the testing's easy. Haha im sitting here and my mom just suggest I type something for mother's day. Well, Here goes. I love my mommy so much! Whenever I'm sick (and thats often!) She takes care of me. I also make so much mistakes- but I know my Mommy loves me. Eeer, Well I was thinking about adding more but Ariel,(my sister) is yelling at me for typing so much. Well she just said,"That was your last sentance, HURRY UP!." I have no intention of stopping. It may seem pretty weird but I happen to talk alot at home. Everything in here is usually what I say outloud at home. As most of you notice I don't talk very much at church or school. Eeer- I feel like im rambling and now my mom is telling me to hurry up.HAHAHA.My mom just asked me why im writing so much and my sister responded-"Cause he's ugly" LOL. Neways I'm probally going to make more posts, hopefully more relavent. Why? Because my mom just said its my job.Wow... now my sister wants to type. Laters I guess.

Field Trip
Yesterday Ariel and I went on a class field trip to the Waste Management at Davis. It was very interesting and smelly. Many of our garbage could be sorted in the recycle bin or food scraps could be put in the green bin, any foods, even bones. I was surprised to find that out. Spending time with Ariel was the highlight of the trip.

Halloween
Halloween this year was a bust. Ariel stayed home to pass out candies to the trick or treaters. Anthony went trick or treat with his friends around our neighborhood. This year we got very few trick or treaters. Not as much fun as it used to.

Spring in California, Winter in Utah.
Burrrrrrrr. Snow all day Sunday. It was so beautiful like being in a Hallmark card. Everything covered in white snow. Macy had so much fun running around outside. She didn't want to come inside. It felt like winter all over again. Except this time I got the full effect of winter. Picture was taken in front of the house.
Anthony & Ariel and their cousins.
Animal Farm
Thanksgiving Point
We drove to Utah because flying would be too expensive. It took us about 13 hours. Anthony and Ariel were super dupper good. So was Macy (our dog). The roads were clear. We visited Thanksgiving Point in Salt Lake City. It is a museum of ancient life. There were fossils of Dinosaurs, prehistoric creatures and other cool discovery.

Anthony and Adam
Klondike Sled Race
Anthony was the lightest in the troop so he got to be inside the sled while the other boys pulled. Lucky him. They had to race pretty far and up the hill. Although they didn't finish first, the boys were very competitive and gave all they got. At the end of the race, his teammates were dying. Fell flat on the snow and puked. It was serious stuff.
